MY STORY

I would like to share with you a bit about myself and what led me to become a holistic life and wellness coach.  In 2009 I decided to take a hiatus from office life and a career in hotel and events marketing to instead see more of the world.  This new path involved traveling and living in locations as diverse as Thailand, South Africa and Nicaragua, while working and volunteering in a variety of fields.  The common thread was that I called upon my strengths and abilities to connect with and support others.  

A debilitating injury in 2018 focused my energy toward healing, pursuing holistic options and embracing well-being. While physical movement was limited, my meditation and mindfulness practices grew, and with treatment from amazing practitioners my physical body began to heal.  This healing and wellness journey included thousands of hours of research, self-study and personal development—through seminars, programs and books around various aspects of health, healing, trauma, chronic illness/pain, spirituality, food systems, quantum physics and more.  As I learned about true well-being, I saw how divergent this was from the way many people live, and I began seeking a way to help others bring more wellness and vitality into their lives.  This desire led me to coaching—I realized that becoming a coach would equip me with the tools to empower and support others in creating their own positive change, for themselves.

My professional coach training is through Wisdom of the Whole Coaching Academy, an ICF, NBHWC and AHNCC accredited program. I hold the National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach credential and also adhere to the International Coaching Federation standards and code of ethics. 
It is my great honor and joy to be a holistic coach, walking with those on the journey of stepping into their potential, in any and all areas of life!

DO YOU OFFER GROUP COACHING?

Yes, occasionally group coaching programs will be offered. If you'd like to be added to the list for upcoming group programs, please let me know.

WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY COACHING CALL?

Our call will be over Zoom or the telephone.
Please be in a quiet space, free from distractions. Having a way to take notes can be great as insights arise and you choose fun and easy action steps.
Take a breath and smile - you're showing up for yourself!

HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT FROM COUNSELING OR THERAPY?

Coaching is present and future oriented, focusing on ways the client will manifest their goals. Coaching does not provide psychological treatment or any form of diagnosis. Combining coaching with therapeutic treatment can be very effective.
